Dear Parents,
We are halfway through the exam session. Next week we will be writing our English Written paper. The students did extremely well in their Review, Oral and even Listening tests ( I know! Sometimes it seems as if they haven't heard anything but apparently, there's nothing wrong with their ears :) )
Anyway, Henry and Mudge is finally completed and we have started with Tippy Toe Chick Go! The glog is available if you click on the name of the story. We will spend three weeks on this story as we have two short weeks coming up.
Next week, they have their Chinese tests as well as the Children's Day activity on Thursday and the Friday Holiday! Monday April 5th is also a holiday.
I will assign reading as homework as I know that many people will be going out over the long weekend.
I've been toying with the idea of starting cursive writing as some of the students have tried linking their letters together in the cursive style of writing. This is something that could be fun to do and will be introduced as such, as they already have a keen interest in doing it. They will work at their own pace. I have copied some tracing books that could help them with it. This will be handed out this coming week.
Feel free to contact me at school if you have any questions.
Have a fantastic weekend,
Carmen
