Sweet November 

There's been a problem loading things onto my blog and hopefully everything is finally sorted out and we can continue as usual. I've provided links to the Reading Street 1.3 glogs on the class Facebook page and this has worked well.

 We've been working really hard on getting ready for the tests and tomorrow we will start our 2nd monthly tests. 
 They've been reviewing and REVIEWING and reviewing and should be ready for our first test, Tuesday, November 25: Vocabulary Review :)

 This week we will also have our Listening and Oral tests- these will be on Wednesday morning and afternoon, respectively.  Please make sure that your child is well-rested as a tired brain does not remember very much.
 I have included the homework at the bottom of this note and hope that everyone can read it clearly. We will only be reviewing this week and will not move onto any new stories. On Friday, I will give them their new book to preview Mama's Birthday Present. 
 The students will get a sleeve with all the stories and worksheets for Reading Street  1.3. They have received a score for the worksheets and I have combined this with their spelling tests and given them a total. This score reflects what they've been up to in class thus far. The students can come and see their scores at any time.
If you are interested in seeing the overall scores, please write me a note and I'll get them to you.
