Welcome back to school!
We are
going to have a fantastic year as we swim into grade two. Everyone should be well-rested
after the 2 month break.
We will
start teaching from Monday and I hope that all the students will be able to
attend the first class, so that they know what is expected of them. As you may
or may not know, many of the students will move from Teacher Henry’s class to
mine, so they will need about a week or two, to adjust to my style of teaching, particularly the Reading Street classes.
This
semester the workload gets a bit harder and the students will really have to
start concentrating on being the best that they can be. As the faces and
personalities of my students differ, so do my expectations for each of them.
Some
students are still struggling with speaking out loud and answering the
questions in class, some of them may still have some problems sounding out the
words and reading fluently. We will be working on individual goals for each
student and trust that we will have your support as well.
Summer Reading Homework
Many of
the parents and students are wondering where the answers are J
