October 27th
Dear Parents and Students,
With things being as hectic as they have been,
mistakes will be made and have been made.
There seems to be a problem with the excel file where
we recorded the test scores. Not all the students got the correct scores as the
numbers are out of sequence! We will sort out this problem as soon as possible
and get the correct test scores to you as well as a new report card.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has
caused.
On another note, as we move into another short
week, the students will get a bit more homework to complete at home. Anything
they don’t complete in class will be assigned as homework.
Parents, could you please sign your name at the
bottom of the worksheets as well as in the communication books. As there has
been a call for more transparency as to what is being taught, this will give
you an idea of what we are doing in the class on a daily basis. Please note
that points will be deducted for incomplete homework and unsigned worksheets.
On Friday, October 30th, our class
will have a Halloween Party. I will
prepare some games for them to play in the classroom and we are supposed to
take a walk around the school. We will ask the students to dress up and will
vote for the best costume. Please help your child with his or her costume.
A big thank you to all those parents who
contributed to the big candy jar, I’m sure the kids will be appreciative.
This week we look at endangered and extinct
animals. We also take a look at conservation.
