Welcome to Grade 5!

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Grade 5. We are looking forward to an exciting year. The students took home a letter on Friday and will ask you to read and sign it. The letter tells them exactly what I expect of them and tells them what to expect in regards to me within our class.

The students received their books and worksheets on Friday and they have to preview the text for this week.

Homework will be written in their communication books as well as on the blog. Please note that English homework should be completed within less than 30 minutes every day. 
Homework will consist mainly of reviewing what we have done in class and previewing the text for the next lesson. Any classwork that has not been completed in class, will become homework and will need to be completed at home.

Vocabulary and Unit Tests will take place on Fridays. Should we have a holiday, the tests will take place the following Monday.

If you have any questions or comments, please write them down in English or Chinese and I will respond in a timely manner.

We will have a PTC on September 12^th and I will your questions then as well.
